Frequently Asked Questions
Q. If I'm traveling alone on a singles trip, do I have to pay a single supplement, or will you find me a roommate?
A. All reservations made 90 days or more prior to the trip date are guaranteed to have NO SINGLE SUPPLEMENTS. That means we guarantee we will find you a roommate. If you need to make a reservation less than 90 days prior to a trip, every effort will be made to provide you with a roommate, so that even the last minute traveler can enjoy the fun of a singles trip without the expense of a single supplement.
Q. If I do not want a roommate, can I have my own room?
A. Yes. If you do not want a roommate, just specify that on your reservation form. We will then contact the cruise line, hotel or tour operator with that request. In some cases, we will be able to obtain a single room and still avoid the expense of a single supplement. In most cases, however, if you desire a room without a roommate, a single supplement charge will apply. This varies for each trip, so if it is something you are interested in, list it on your reservation form and we will notify you of any applicable supplement fee with your confirmation. You can tell us at that time whether you wish to go ahead with the reservation without a roommate or if you'd like us to confirm you with a roommate.
Q. Will there be activities for the tour group on the trip?
A. Absolutely! All of our singles trips have planned activities and parties designed just for our participants. You'll love the parties, games and other activities we throw on cruise ships and in our land tours as well, all just for our travelers. This is one of the best ways to make new friends to last a lifetime.
Q. Will there be a chance to meet or communicate with the people on the trip before the day of the trip?
A. Yes. All passengers receive a welcome letter via email approx. 30 days before your trip. This gives you helpful tips for the trip about packing and other useful info about your trip so you can be best prepared. This email also gives you the email addresses of all passengers going on the trip so all can communicate with each other before the trip. Also, on trips where air is included in the trip package, we host a pre flight get together at a restaurant or lounge at the airport the group flies from, approx 2 hours before the flight time.
Q. If I have frequent flyer miles, can I use these toward a singles trip with you?
A. Yes. Just identify on your reservation that you wish a land/cruise only package. You will then receive the land/cruise only price. This can save you hundreds of dollars in many cases. Of course, if you choose this option, it is your responsibility to secure your frequent flyer air arrangements, as this must be done only by the person holding the frequent flyer account. We can, however, hold your reservation while you check with an airline to see if frequent flyer seats are available on the dates that correspond with the trip you wish to take with us.
Q: What is the typical age range on these singles trips?
A. Ages vary widely. We take travelers as young as their late 20's on up to their 60's. Most travelers on our trips though are between the ages of 35 and 55. Ultimately, when you travel with us, you'll see that age is irrelevant. You'll enjoy mingling and becoming friends with your fellow single travelers of all ages.
Q: Where do your travelers come from?
A. Our guests hail from many spots in the U.S. and other countries as well. Many are from our home base of Atlanta, Georgia, and many in other places hear of us through friends who have traveled with us and rave about the fun they had. Many of our guests are repeat travelers who can't wait to go to the next new destination with some of the friends they met on their last trip with us or who are just looking forward to meeting new ones.
Q. What if I have to cancel a trip?
A. Cancellation policies vary per trip. In most cases, a deposit cancellation date of approx. 90 days prior to the trip is set and any cancellation requests made in writing via email by that date will receive a full deposit refund.
